Dr. Weinke grew up in Southern California and always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She graduated from Chapman University, then took several years off before following her dream by attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies. She graduated with high honors in 2016 after completing her clinical year at Louisiana State University.

After graduation, Dr. Weinke practiced small animal medicine in Colorado for two years before moving to Florida. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, client education and preventative medicine. She is Fear Free certified, using gentle touch and high reward treats with our patients to limit the stress and anxiety associated with veterinary visits. She is also certified in pain management and nutrition, and she is working on becoming certified in the human/animal bond.

When she’s not working, Dr. Weinke enjoys spending time adventuring around Florida and soaking up the sun, whether at the beach, on a paddle board, exploring a trail or just relaxing at home with her three fur kids.
